You know when someone enters your life and without meaning to changes it forever?

Isabel del Rosal is one of those people for me, and the moment she asked me to write music for her first feature film Walk With Me my life changed in incredible ways. I honestly don’t know if I would have ever had the courage to write and release my own (solo) songs without Walk With Me. I’ve always had my Dala BFF beside me in the writing room all these years and I wasn’t quite sure if I could really do it on my own.

But I said yes, ran directly into my fear and started what would be a 4 year journey of creating my first solo music.

I wrote 16 songs for the movie; for both the soundtrack and for the incredible Bridget Barkan to perform as Logan. I dug deep into the character and wrote what felt like her heart’s story. Isabel (who wrote and directed the film) helped guide me through the story and truly created space for my own creativity to flourish. And now it begins. I am incredibly proud to share these songs with the world and I can not wait for you all to see this beautiful movie.
